FRESH START

MAKE A FRESH START TODAY

Are you caught up in the day to day doldrums of your career?
The new year is here. This means its a perfect time to complete the previous year and start fresh. If you haven't been  passionate about your career in a while, capitalize on this time of the year to begin again. If you have lost your get up and go maybe what's missing is a new goal. Something that gets you excited and motivated again. Whether it's a new job or a new way of doing something in your present position, a new goal can give you something to look forward to.

So how do find a new goal ?
Follow these four steps....

CONVINCE YOURSELF THAT YOU WANT A NEW GOAL..
No goal is achieved without commitment. Have you ever observed someone pursuing a goal and said to yourself, "that person is a good believer ." True believers are easy to spot because they are defined by their commitment.  Are you a true believer in your goal ? Are you committed ? If not, shift your perspective. Don't allow yourself to be comfortable with circumstances that do not further your goal.

START SMALL...
Are you in one of these two places?
1)  You have no idea what should be the next step in your career.
2)  You do know, but haven't done anything about it yet.
Either way it doesn't matter. Now is your time to move forward.
Start small. Small steps increase your confidence and lead to completing other small steps.
Slow and steady wins the race.

CREATE TOUR GAME PLAN...
Having a plan is vital to your success. With a plan, success is yours.  Without a plan you will be working far harder than you have to. A plan adds organization to your goal because it details specific actions and steps to get there.
Another reason to create a plan is that it will prevent your goal from become overwhelming. The temptation to feel overwhelmed is normal. Your plan will give you comfort and help you be successful. Your plan can be formal and long, or uncomplicated and short.

LOOK AT YOUR GOAL EVERYDAY...
Most people want a "do over" or a second chance. You get this opportunity on January 1st. If you create your goal, and then put it away, your words will have no value.ehat you can't see will soon be forgotten as the year progresses. When you look at your goal regularly, it gradually becomes a part of who you are. Look at your goal every morning so you can start your day with focus. Look at your goals every evening, so that it stays with you in your dreams.
So, what do u say..?

You only have one life to live, so it might as well be a life you love...!!!

CROSS CULTURAL COMMUNICATION

All communication is cultural- it draws on ways we have learned to speak and give non verbal messages. We do not always communicate the same way from day to day , since factors like context , individual personality , and mood interact with the variety of cultural influences we have internalized that influence our choices. Communication is interactive , so an important influence on its effectiveness is our relationship with others. Do they hear and understand what we are trying to say?  Are they listening well ? Are we listening well in response ? Do their responses shoe that they understand the words and the meanings behind the words we have chosen ? Is the mood positive and receptive? Is there trust between them and us ? Are there differences that relate to ineffective communication , divergent goals , or interests or fundamentally different ways of seeing the world ? The answers to these questions will give us some clues about the effectiveness of our communication and the ease with which we may be able to move through conflict.
In this module, cross cultural communication will be outlined and demonstrated by examples of ideas, attitudes and behaviours involving for variables :
1) time and space
2) fate and personal responsibility
3) face and face saving
4) nonverbal communication.

EDUCATION
Education is a vital part of any society. Formal institutions of education are among the largest consumers of published materials. Without them book publishing would be a very different business. Education publishing companies are in the process of experimenting with implementing new forms (eg.electronic) of published material in their practices. Today, technology is increasingly becoming a means for empowering students, and is a method for communication. The digital divide, once seen as a factor of wealth, is now seen as a factor of education: those who have the opportunity to learn technology skills Are in a better position to pbtain and make use of technology than those who do not. Next generation publishers will see much less distinction between print and digital innovation and creativity are becoming paramount. There is also an increased interest  in just- in-time. Alternate, or non formal avenues of education, such as online learning, mentoring, and independent study.

The biggest study faced by education publishing companies are :-
  1)  high cost of text books VS low cost interactive web based curriculum.
  2)  industry concentration.
  3)   Enhanced offerings - due to the advancement of technology in education (usage of personal
devices, products designed to accompany textbooks, CD- roms and other instructional
        supplements)
  4)   Labor - heavy practices in the industry.

ONLINE EDUCATION
Online education is fast becoming a major preferred mode of education among students. Enrol long to regular courses is increasingly getting highly competitive in india, so online education and distance education has come as wonderful alternative and several students opt for this. As the term itself suggests, online education means web based learning l, but there is no universally accepted definition. So, the methods used for implementing online education may differ from institute to institute. Some online courses may require students and teachers to meet from time to time for physical lectures or to conduct laboratory experiments while some May not require this. This can vary depending on the course which one opts to take up.

Happiness

DEFINITION OF HAPPINESS......

The happiness is much more than what an article could describe. Some people describe happiness as the feeling we experience , when we realize that everything is exactly as it should be , some define it as the state of feeling that we experience after reaching our goals while others define it as a having inner peace.
Defining happiness is not so easy. The aim of this article is to teach us how to be happy rather then giving us a philosophical definition of happiness that won't help in changing our mood.

HAPPINESS IS PERSPECTIVE DEPENDENT....

Happiness is perspective dependent emotion. This means that what could make someone happy may not be of any importance to someone else. I may become happy if I became rich but for someone else money won't make him feel happy.
